In this presentation:
- How the nasty effects of stress are more far-reaching than you ever imagined (once you learn these, it won’t be hard to see why stress is closely connected to female hair loss).
- The simple, fun, painless 5-step philosophy for healing your hormones and mind from the effects of stress.
- Why hormonal birth control may actually be a “wolf in sheep’s clothing” when it comes to controlling hormonal hair loss (and how you can mitigate the damage done by using it).
- 2 easy, “no-doctor-necessary” ways to tell if stress and other factors in your life are having an impact on your ovulation (something that is very important to your hormonal balance).
I was on a variety of BCP from 18 to 26 years old! I’ve been off for about a year and a half. Luckily, my cycles seemed to bounce back on their own right away, however, as mentioned in my comment on the previous video; my hair has yet to recover.
What do you ladies think of supplemental progesterone? Specifically something like Ray Peat’s “Progest-e” which is natural progesterone in vitamin E, to be taken during the second half of the cycle.
I do follow pretty much everything mentioned in this talk – which is a good sign!
